Well, I thought to post something about where I live and work these days at Cambridge, UK. It is a bit far away from the town itself. So I just get into the town only on Saturday, the rest of days, I got to work then to home. Nothing more, nothing less.

It is hard to find a place to eat at also, so I try to manage this by making food at home. It is a good place actually, but still in the middle of no where :o)

Well, I thought is something to blog about. It is 08-08-08 (dd-mm-yy) day, this day will never come again till the next century. So as 01-01-01, 02-02-02 etc.. and the sequence will stop on 12-12-12. because there is not 13th month :o)

Nothing so special about numbers or dates except the match between the day, month and year. But it is funny.

Another funny date for me was 06-07-08. This day I traveled to UK, and I'm staying here for 3 months.

Today is special day because of numbers. And tomorrow is a special day because it is my lovely wife's birthday. It is a good chance to say Happy Birthday to you darling, and I sill love you dear, you don't have to worry even if I might think of getting married again :o)p.

Ok, it is my first time to blog about an incident happen to me at Cambridge, UK. Last week ends was my 4th weekend at Cambridge. It is a lovely city/village and good place to live in.

Anyway, I decided to go to some club last weekend. I had my plan, 1st go to have a launch, then watch WALL-E and finally at night go to some club where I knew there a DJ I wanted to listen to what he is going to play.

So at 10 PM after movie I went to the club. And as usually when I go to any club, I start to dance, because when it gets crowded I never get a chance to have my own fun!

After sometime place get crowded a bit, and people there were wearing strange customs!! Not all of them, but many of them. Like girls/ladies wearing kind of butterfly wings! I don't know why! but anyway but that was the case and it seems just normal to them.

One of those girls with butterfly wings come to me and start to ask me something that I didn't understand because of the loud music:

She: Do you have a brother?!
Me: What?!
She: A brother! Do you have a brother?
Me: No I don't have a problem!
She: No no, brother, you know sister, brother.. So do you have a brother?!
Me: Ahhhhh, No no, Not here not now! But why?!

Then she showed a small paper has the following written:
"Kiss 2 brothers and win ....."

Well, I couldn't notice what exactly she should win, because her fingers were hiding that! But I looked at here with a pout! So no Brother, No kiss!! She smiled and fly away!

That was funny. Later I noticed her flying between guys! it seems like they had a kind of contest to do different things. They pick a paper from bag, and then do what is written on that paper.

Well, about my next weekend, I guess I'll go to watch Mummy, then later will see what else I could do..

WALL-E who is living on a world of his own, a must seen movie

WALL-E What a beautiful movie. One of my best cartoon movies I ever seen. Well, it is a bit new brand style cartoon movie. For the most of time, you are watching WALL-E and EVE 2 robots who sometimes speak with their electro voice or might not speak at all or just speak of 2 words "WALL-E" or "EVE" :o).

And this is the challenge, You still feel the movie and characters. You live the story and interact with it emotionally. The movie is full of beautiful meanings including save and care for our mother earth. And I guess this is the main goal.

My blog Anniversary

Once again, celebrating my blog anniversary for the 3rd year. This time I'm at Cambridge, UK. When I start this live space blog I was at Abu Dhabi, UAE. That in July 2005.

As supposed to be, another year, with different stories and actions. I'll start with a summary about myself, then move to summarize my best buddies journey along the past year.

About myself, the real action start just few months ago. But I'll start with the most exciting incident I remember, my daughter's first year birthday on Last January. On Feb, I launched my professional blog starting to walk through the professional life on my career road. And about actions, last May I quit my job and started to search for new one. Returned back to Cairo after long 7 months of traveling between UAE and Egypt. Of course, my wife was sharing all that, except the blogging thing that was totally mine :0)

Now time to talk about those who really have touches in my life. The fellowship of my life:

Real actions in Sameh's life, messed up a bit but he's still living and smiling. Not sure what he is going to do. But he was about to get divorced.
Motaz, God be with you buddy. About a year now, searching and jumping between jobs. A man who really sailing in strong winds, and yet still alive, smiling and keep searching.
Ali, oh man, happy birthday before anything. But Ali! what is new in your life buddy?! I can see any changes since last year. Except that stupid experience (getting married to incorrect girl) you were about to put yourself into. And of course visiting Egypt again after 4 years was something. I missed you really Ali.
Karim, Congratulations. Finally the guy get married to the girl he loved about 5 or 6 years ago. Long love story, hopeless one, became true and they just get married last Feb. Congratulations guys.
Muhammad Moustafa, he is also going to get married or already get married this month. I'm at UK, and he is very hard to find. I wish to join him this moments of his life. But life isn't that easy and it never give us all what we wants. But really being a friend of yours Moustafa is really amazing. And nothing like the old days.
I keep my sweet till the end. Abu, Ahmad Abu Elkhair, Same troubles he face since a year or more. And yet same guy I used to know. And the best to have a talk with. Also facing strong winds, and cheering those who depressed as he used to do! But he is the one who usually being depressed!!

New people really I feel that they added a value to me. Amr ElSehemy is one of them. And few others totally changed my idea which was good about them, to some ruins because of their sick souls.

I can say, I lost another one this year, but it wasn't my fault. sounds like every year I'm losing someone. I couldn't mention his name, or ever remove him from my old blog entries. Still I do remember our best days together. And I wish that would have a better life.

So that was all for this post, and happy Anniversary to me.

Why did I quit my last job?!

Well, it's been a while now, almost 2 months since I quit my last job and resigned. And yesterday I was thinking of the reasons that made me take this step. And so, I decided to put them on.

Lack of professional working environment.
No process really being followed to achieve anything.
Those who work are equally to those who don't.
No care about time or efficiency.
Too much work load while there is no reason.

I tried to change few the things I don't like, but I couldn't. I didn't get much support. So it was the end for me, I couldn't take it anymore. There is a long story behind the list above, but I tried to make long story short.

A month has gone since I resigned from my job. And I in the last 35 days I was searching for a new job and preparing few papers. Thank God I didn't wait so long as I expected, and I found a new job, hopefully it will be better than my previous one.

Basically I'm searching for professional environment where every one carry his responsibilities appropriately. An environment where talk is less and actions are much. No big mouths I seek, honored persons I wish to meet.

As we live, we gain experience in different fields, and commonly we seek experience in our field of profession and work. And I also seek experience in how to accept the other and how to interact with people in professional way.

In country like Egypt, and you'll find in the region (middle east) many countries like Egypt; professional environment is missing in most places. Sadly, this is a truth, why, and how I don't know. But this is the way it is. I try to stuck with my ideas, and at least correct myself, to be able to judge others.

That was my last post for the last day of June. By the end of next month (July) will be my Live Space 3rd Anniversary, and I usually post a summary of the year that has passed. So I'm waiting and trying to prepare for my anniversary post.

I'm sure that most of us already got a chance to meet with some sick minds in this world. Myself, I do. But I forgot most of them. And recently I worked and lived with one of them! and I was totally cheated on him. And I'm sure he will be forgotten just as all of the sick minds I met before.

The whole story started with respect, and ended with disrespect. I have my reasons, be he has no reasons but weak reasons. I have many people who agree on my opinion but he has only his sick mind to live with. That is why, I call him a sick mind.

Why do I call him sick mind?! Well, the story started 6 months ago I think. When he started to ignore his duty and not to full fill his position. As well as disrespecting others efforts and not appreciating their support for him. He totally throw his responsibilities out of the windows, expecting someone else to Cary them on behalf of him. He used to protect himself, by protecting someone else, because both of them were always and always delayed on their jobs. He used to call himself senior, while he totally acts against that.

When someone tried to remind him of the word responsibility, he answered "What, What is the issue exactly?! what responsibility you are talking about?!". Beside all that, he totally rap my rights in objection or request for his punishment to keep the right of the others. Someone like him, cannot be trusted. And I know why he never try to search for another job, that is because he will not be able in any other environment, because he is not professional, and he runs things the way he likes. But I don't like it, so I'm waiting to see where his sick mind is going to lead him! or maybe he will change his mind with some brand new one. But anyway, it is over, and I would never be happy to see him again even by coincidence.

OMG, I cannot believe that I got the chance to attend a concert to my favourite pianist and musician in middle east Omar khairat. The concert was amazing, and he played most of his wonderful composed music for about 120 min.

It was a lovely night in a boring city. His concert brought me to life, and made me refreshed my soul. I enjoyed every second of his play. I've uploaded few video shots during the concert. Not fully plays but parts of some of the music he and his band played during the concert.

This was a the first concert to attend for him from about 5 years maybe! and it was one of the best, specially because I am away from home, and he took me back home during his 120 min.

Yesterday 10th of Feb 2008 and exactly after 2 years, it was the final match in the African Cup of Nations between Egypt and Cameroon. And the Egyptians pharos archived it again and won the African Cup for 2nd time in row and the 6th in Egypt history (1957, 1959, 1986, 1998, 2006 and 2008).

Congratulations to all Egyptians and Arabs. And really they deserve to be the champions of this tournament. They made a good fair play. Amusing and entertaining one.

2 Years passed now, we again made it to final match in African Cup -GHANA 2008-. But this time our National team is different! They are playing wonderful, they really amazing in the bitch. The final match is against Cameron. We already beat them once earlier in the tournament. The question, can we do it again, beat them again and again win the African Cup for 2nd time in row?!

I really hope so, and congratulations to all Egyptians. And hopefully we will all celebrate the victory on Sunday inshallah.

Last night My live space register 17000 page views. On 27th of Nov it was 9000. I would like to thank all my friends who and all those who visited my live space. You are all amazing!

During the last period I met wonderful people and made good relations with many of them. And they all inspired me by a way or another. Sharing of stories of our lives and ideas with thoughts open universe gate to us. We might not agree with each other most of time, but at least we are teaching ourselves how to listen and accept the other.

I do not usually debate others regarding religion unless they poke me or try to get me into such subject. The reason behind that is that I am not knowledgeable enough to provide correct answers and actually I should not because I'm not qualified person to get into such discussions. However if I am in such situation I do my researches and submit the questions I got and return back to those who asked me with the proper answers to their questions. The other reason is if you wish to keep your relation with others out of troubles just do not open such subject. But that doesn't mean if I found someone speaking incorrect information about my religion I remain silent! No, I correct his information as much as I can.

Recently, a honorable woman passed by this live space -mine- and posted a comment on one of my pictures with my daughter and my wife. The comment showed to me that totally she knows nothing about Islam! however she left the comment and gone. She is Christian and she seem to be religious one. Well I had no problem at with her comment and I replied to her. She asked me in her comment to visit her space to find the truth and the survive in Juses! I already know my religion very well, and I already made studies about bible and I already had my choice and found peace in where I am. But I decided to visit her space to read more and submit my comments and questions just as how she did!!

So, I visited her space, I didn't read anything new to me! So I decided to post few questions to her and wait for her answer! Normally, I just did exactly as the way she did on my posts and photos.

I don't remember how many questions I asked, and I'm not going to post my questions in here! because actually I'm not waiting for an answer because I already know the answer, I just wanted her to confirm the answer I already knew. Well, this is not my subject anyway, my subject is, she deleted my comments and my questions from her posts?!!! Yes she deleted them! With no excuse or even apology. Yes it is her right to do so, but it is my right to comment and ask. And actually she is the one who invited me. As I said before, if I passed by her space without knowing, I would never post such questions to her. I'm not asking people to convert to Islam it is not my job. But it might be my duty to correct their ideas about Islam and ask them to read more about it as long as they wish to debate.

Anyway, her comments are still available on my space, but my comments are deleted! So if you are not ready to accept others idea, or be able to debate with them; just keep yourself away from such subjects. Myself I'm not ready, but if someone put me in such situation I would at least keep his/her comments and search for answers!

Today is my daughter's fist year birthday. Her name is Mariam. Like today last year, 13th Jan 2007 at 11:30 PM she was born. Sadly today I am away from her; not celebrating with her and her mother along with all our friends and family her first year birthday. So I'm going to celebrate my way and dedicate this post to her.

Few days ago she also had her first walk steps alone. Also she was sick, ooh she is so poor when she is like that. Also her lovely mother was sick too, she had a flu. But thank God, they both are almost recovered now.

Today on my daughter's 1st Birthday, I would post few pics of her first year in life. Just a summary of her journy during the last period.

Well, something interesting at least for me! I just received a message from my wife that my daughter Mariam took her first 2 walking steps alone. Almost a year now since she born, on 13th Jan she will complete her first year.

I'm away from home, and a bit excited to know she walked. And waiting to get back home to see her walking and doing all her funny stuff she used to do. Except her crying, cause she has a noisy loud crying voice.
