UAE Etisalat Telecommunication, it is Weak and SUCKS!!!

Maybe many of you have heard of the all mighty UAE proxy . The main target of this proxy -as it should be- is to block adult content web sites. Although this is a Nobel reason, but they allow adult content on the public streets . Year really, I live in a place where you can find cheap girls waiting for customers late at night. The area itself is a good area, many families live there and in the morning it is just normal clean place. Suddenly at night you feel yourself some where on Amsterdam. And your children would be able to see that happen as normal thing or lifestyle behaviour. So adult content is not the target, anybody agrees with me?!

Ok, let me tell you my opinion why Etisalat the most weak Telecom Company on the whole world is doing this. Beside blocking adult contents -as the main reason of course- they also block other telecom feature sites like www.jaxtr.com. Did you get it now or not yet?! Ok, let me tell you a fact about Etisalat of UAE, this company is the only Telecom Company based on UAE since the UAE exists. The are responsible for the ISP, Mobile Telecom, land phones etc.... Recently a new company joined the competition so they are 2 companies now.

Because Etisalat is the only company who is currently responsible for ISP, and because they are weak they block all other telecom features sites. who knows, maybe Skype is on the block list too. They event blog SMS message application on Facebook. And because people have no other options, so this Company is using its customers to collect the money.

Another fact, Etisalat is only serving less than 4 Million customers in UAE, when I say less than 4 million I added one million from my pocket. After all that, there mobile network is very weak. Suddenly while you are talking you might find the network gone down, although you are standing in the middle of a live cell where the network coverage must be 100% strong.

Now here is the funny message the display when trying to view www.jaxtr.com:
"We apologize the site you are attempting to visit has been blocked due to its content being inconsistent with the religious, cultural, political and moral values of the United Arab Emirates." Did you get my point now! they are blocking contents that has nothing to do with this message. And they are blocking contents that are available on the streets. One day I'm gonna post a pic of those girls waiting down there.
