Well, I posted this quote today not because I believe in it or that I agree with it, but because I've faced a small incident today where this quote was mentioned.

Before I proceed let me clarify things about Egypt and Egyptians. More than 10 years now and Egyptian economics in going down, government turned to be the number one spoiled organization, democracy is only a word that is written on walls or new papers and as a result people became more negative.

That was a small summary. But there is always a bright side, even if this bright side is inside us and actually visible. You can consider it a hope that the country and the people who lead the civilization for thousands years can reorganize themselves again and return to the lead. You can consider that my hope and some people who might read this would say "Oh another fool!"

One of the proves that we Egyptians are living in a spoiled environment that suffer the leakage of good honorable management is an incident take place in Alexandria. A building with 10+ floors collapsed. And the same question rise again and again "Who is responsible for that?!" Of course many hands, and of course not even one hand of them is going to be cut off.

Now my introduction has ended. Back to the subject. During I was surfing Youtube, I found a video about this incident and few people commented on it. One of those comments was an Arabic translation of the above quote. The guy was saying that Egyptians give up their liberty, dignity, morality, safety as well as their honor long time ago, all in one shot and easily.

The guy is using plural, he is mentioning that all Egyptian done that! Well, many of Arabs thinks this way towards Egyptians since 1978. I'm not sure what does this guy mean, or what is his target! Maybe he is trying to show himself, with few words. This guy is saying he is Egyptian; sounds good, and I admit we are living in a mess, but doesn't mean that we sold our liberty and blah blah blah blah as what he mentioned. He seems to live outside Egypt! most probably in USA. Then my question to him? What did he do to his country to help to overcome this period and to support his people?! most probably nothing. People like those are just talkie love to show they know while they are ignorant.

No matter how things are in mess inside Egypt, and no matter how people became negative I still have a hope and do my small tiny simple job toward my country and my people.

At least I have a hope.
